If God grants you a lemon, make lemonade. If you live in Africa, you better be running like a gazelle every morning because a cheetah might eat your food if you sleep too long. If you live in Brooklyn, make blue lemonade, green lemonade, have fun with the colors. Share with your neighbors. Serenade the blocks. If you happen to be in Africa or anywhere else where you may be running, remember not to get caught with the rats scrambling for cheese on La Brea @ Sunset Blvd. Strategize. Slow and steady wins the race. (This is my translation of proverbs my Nigerian dad dropped on me.)
