Ars4010's Statement

I have been passionate about art since the age of 3 yrs old. I have been crafting my skill in comics, cartoons & various amounts of life's subjects. Since I was little, I have imitated some of the greatest pencil artist, ink artist, and storytellers in the comic book artist like Kirby & Stan Lee (Marvel), Jim Lee (Image), Todd McFarland (Image), and admiring Peter Chung's animation (Aeon Flux). I have been working on numerous stories, comic book illustrations, and ceramics sculpted in Super Sculpty. I started my concept character designs at the age of 14 yrs old & grew to make 120 characters over the years to the present date for this one storyline called Zygon (the title started as Velocity Wars in middle school, but is now changed) which I released my first issue to my first comic book shop in Baton Rouge, La called Walley Pop Comics in Louisiana. I have multiple stories to market & entertain with such as Zygon (which I mainly will work on during the grant period), Zygon wrecking zone, Cyber Phunk, Hell Raven, 7 yrs, Jigga, and Android 5700 the rebirth.


My art history as a professional artist was fun creatively, but rough at times financially. I have directed and freelanced art work for t-shirt companies, contributed art to communities and churches, conceptually designed characters for video games, won big art contests, drawn caricatures from tourist from different countries for a international mall, preformed live art and hosted art shows & events which I have email and sent a invitation to Barack Obama for a historical U.S. Senator’s Congressional sealed certified certificate for the Art of Hope painting I painted in a gallery at the Creadle school of art, and as well as a Louis Armstrong/ Miles Davis/ Allen Toussaint painting for his son for the New Orleans Jazz festival.
