After being out of the art game for quite some time , (due to dedicating my self to the 9-5 instead of the creative) I decided to go through some of my old proofs and rework them, hence appropriating work that was produced many years ago. A common theme that I did come across while looking through the proofs is that for some reason I used the image of an angel a lot, ( i am still a bit obsessed with angels wings..... I guess its a sub conscience obsession of mine) in the series of photographs with the male angel I remember playing on the image of pigar a mythological image from the movie BABARELLA....... The rest of the images I was working with the concept of a broken angel. I have re photographed these images with a digital camera on a night setting which has given the images a tungsten aura and some what a haunting feel to the images.........its like looking at old photographs from the 70's or 80's that have changed colour, a image stuck in time what stories lie behind each image?
