I feel like when ur in service you loose your identity, you become just a number...essentially that's what u are in the universe as a whole, but when it comes to your world...your planet earth, you're the main character, and it has to be a devastating feeling just realizing that you're nothing but another body.. a number to "them." You become a generic person...like when u create a player in a video game, and they give u the generic being to start off with...so that's why i used the Lego..it's simple, it's generic, it's fun (IMO.)

I remember seeing a video of a soldier in iraq being held hostage, and they film the insurgents decapitating the american soldier...so i put the lone lego head at the bottom split in half.
