Painting is the primary outlet for my creativity. As a woman and as an artist I am not afraid to make powerful, relentless figures (statements) that are bold, vibrant and at times capable of alarming the viewer. Through abstracted color and the feminine figure I am commenting on strength, sexuality, self-awareness, femininity, and provocation. Overall I want the viewer to be invited into a discourse with each painting, questioning my visual intentions. My paintings are about meanings and the feelings behind them.
