How beautiful are we when we wake up everyday and make it another night...
How beautiful are we when we raise our right fist and make it through another fight...
How strong are we when we struggle but still manage to hold on with all of our mights..
How powerful are we when we come together stop acting with spite...
How beautiful is it when we stand tall against the rain of the heartaches and pain of this misgynistic world...
How beautiful is it when we turn our cheeks to the societal expectations of what it means to be a girl...
they say you must be a cosmopolitan woman...a plastic...well we aint with it...
we know that we are more than just silent women frozen on white pages...we are those go getters...
we are worth more than our wages...
How beautiul are we when we choose to be thick and not skinny...
How beautiful are we when we knowe were born with it... it aint maybeline...
How smart are we with 2 kids a partner and a degree...
How strong are we when we realize that at the end of the night we have me myself & I...
and realize that we need not depend on no guy...
How sexy is it when our shirts fit and our skirts can atleast reach our knees...
How pure are we when we choose to say no even when the brotha begs please...
How empowering are we when we bow down to no man and when we make the plans...
How in love are we when we truly love ourselves before giving of thee...
And know that they have to truly love love before they can truly love we...
How real are we when we say what comes to mind despite the time...
How beautiful are we when we raise our right fists and make it through another fight...
How beautiful are we when we are oppressed as a race and still manage to hold on with all of our mights...
How beautiful are we womyn...mothers.fathers.best friends.brothers.sisters.
How strong are we: heroes.activist.over achievers. SUPER WOMYN.
