Digital Artwork Description

This has to be the first stab at vectorizing a sketch I had orginally done in my sketchbook by hand, and with a simple mouse.

Created late at night in the back-corner of a Denny's diner, it brings me back to when I went to art school/college. It was typical for me to spend late nights/early mornings there until the sun would rise. I still recall chomping on their strawberry cheesecake as I filled in my grunged up sketchbook.

It wasn't until years later that I stumbled upon it and decided to give it a digital facelift. The results came out better then i expected, but know that no wacom pens, custom brushes, or live-tracing was done on this piece, just the good ol pen and pathfinder tools.

Perhaps I'll do another traditional-to-digital transfers, but this time without the soggy cheesecake beside me.
