Like the great sculptors of old
Who placed a sheet over their masterpieces
Until they believed it was
Perfect.
Only then did they present it to the masses
To be looked at,
Scrutinized,
Awed over,
And they were proud.
So shall I keep my masterpiece covered.
I am the sculptor of not stone,
But of flesh,
My flesh,
And I shall keep it covered
Just as they did.
Till at which time I choose that it has reached
Perfection.
At this time I will remove the sheet,
I will show my masterpiece,
And I will be proud,
Just as they were.
