Writing Description

I'm really not this vain, I promise. I wrote this in response to my ex after we broke-up. I'm sure he's never read it but it made me happier with the situation after reading his WHACKness. ;-)

Who I am:
I'm a poet and I know it, earthy b-girl and I show it. Toes on pointe or with taps, own the dancefloor, like my locks on naps. Known to smile before I open my eyes, known to laugh until I cry. Waiting for the sun to rise, better yet, a sunshower to hide my cries. Hidden worse, like chocolate turtles under my pillow, chosen men hornier than armadilloes. Run sprints with hurdles faster than most divas in the states, strategize and execute in life: slow and steady wins the race. Patience is a virtue I'm here for tomorrow not today, simple life of wealth in spirit, on the middle podium a gold medal sways...In God's wind I spin, pop-lock and break, if we're close and I love you the most, sweatpants and boxers I may take. For I am His trophy, rush for no one on my own time, petals and drums, butterflies and sun dance inside my mind. When I fall silent draw your swords who knows a tear may swell and fall, adorned with emotions on my skin, ink of my pen stains victims while I stand tall. Mental midgets cannot trap me as I calculate digits just as accurately, but I hate numbers. Grew up in the midwest, played in creeks can beat you in chess, hop your scotch and double-dutch your watch...watch it!! I'll steal your time while I blow your mind, the sway back will make you find your way back. Like Pharrell says, but you're “loooooking through a peep hole,” only a few are privileged enough to see behind the windows of my soul. The depths are deep, yeah talk is cheap, I'm a child at heart, use a nightlight when I sleep. Sometimes. Don't let the snowboard and pearls fool you, sweet potatoes and my singing voice may move you. A private school country girl at heart, a New England demeanor and penny loafers were the start. (After the Mary-Janes ofcourse) They call me Sommer-so-fast, Miss Demeanor and Soms, whatever you call me, just smile while doing and my heart you've surely won. I hug trees and weep for the homeless, carelessness with my feelings, I don't condone this. Cabbage Patch, the robot, Tears for Fears, do the wop...... uprock, hollyrock Sheila, rock it and ya don't stop. En Vogue Madonna, Isn't she Lovely, Stevie? Ewwwwww, BOP! "I got clownz to the left of me, Jokers to the right here I am, stuck in the middle with you."
