I walk through the valley of the shadow of death
I fear the evil
for thou art not with me
I prepare myself for the evil that surrounds me as I take my seat in the valley
The shadows thicken and I am terrified
for thou art not with me
I lie down and close my eyes and I weep
for thou art not with me
I die alone in the shadow a sad man
for thou left me a long time ago
